Sarah Mills
Sarah Mills is a member of the Waterville UCC church and a Member-In-Discernment in the Living Water Association. She is also the Christian Education Supervisor/Sunday school teacher and a member of the Board of Deacons and the Pastor Search Committee at Waterville UCC and is leading worship at the church during the search process. She currently works as the Peer Tutoring Coordinator at Thomas College in Waterville.

Rick Karg
Rick Karg has been consulting and training on energy-related issues for decades. He is a lifetime member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) where he serves on the Epidemic Task Force, Residential Team; the Residential Building Committee; and the residential ventilation committee (SSPC 62.2). He received the 2015 Phillip C. Hastings award from Efficiency Maine for “his outstanding leadership in the field of building science and energy efficiency” and in 2016 he was inducted into the Building Performance Institute (BPI) Hall of Fame. Rick is the president of Residential Energy Dynamics and R.J. Karg Associates. He lives with his wife, Leslie Anne Chatfield, in Bethel, Maine.

Katie Thiesen
Katie Thiesen has been connected with the Maine Poor People’s Campaign for almost two years. A social worker by trade, she is a candidate for the Deaconess Community of the ECLA and serves on their PPC working group. Katie is also a leader for the PPC hub in Bangor.

Mike Muir
Mike Muir is a member and Moderator of Waterville UCC Church. His wife and he have been active members for more than 15 years, and have both previously served as Deacons. Mike is an educator who has worked with schools across the Maine and other states on Leadership for School Change and currently serves as Learning Through Technology Director for SAD #44 (Bethel Area Achools).
